The terms and conditions shown below refer to internet/telephone sales any sales raised through our showroom have a slightly different terms and conditions which will be given at time of order.
Returns of non faulty goods/cancelled orders.
All orders that have been ORDERED IN ERROR/CHANGE OF MIND should be reported within 7 working days from date of delivery. You are required to complete a returns form which you can request through email. If you change your mind about your products or order goods in error you can return it to us subject to a 10% re-stocking fee.
Under no conditions can goods be returned where they have been a special order or out of stock item. You can not return or receive a refund should the goods be ‘Special Order’. You are required to give us written confirmation via post, fax or email. You should give details on which goods you have ordered along with the delivery details. You can contact us at for full details on how this can be done. It is your responsibility to ensure that returned item(s) reach us in good condition. “Under the Distance Selling Directive you as the customer have a duty of care for the products delivered to you whilst in your possession”
All products are to be sent back to us at your own cost and risk. You should use a registered Courier and always obtain proof of the postage or delivery for your own proof of return. We do NOT accept liability for the transit of returned goods and therefore suggest that you take out carrier insurance. They should be returned safely and in their original packaging. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. We will reserve the right to refuse any products should the products be defaced or the package not in original condition and therefore not in a re-sellable condition. You should place all items in an outer box or jiffy bag. THERE MUST BE NO LABELS OR WRITING ON THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING.
Special Orders
NO SPECIAL ORDER ITEM CAN BE RETURNED OR REFUNDED
Under no condition can an order be cancelled when they have been a special order
Special orders mean:-
- All made to order Furniture.
- Any goods that have been made bespoke for the customer for the customers own specifications.
- Baths that have specifically drilled.
- Any items that have been fitted.
Faulty or Damaged Goods
ALL FAULTY OR DAMAGED GOODS should be notified to us within 7 days.
We may request that photographic evidence be sent to us. You should contact customer services to request a RETURNS FORM. This should then be completed by you.
The goods should be returned safely and in their original packaging. If the packaging is damaged and not in a returnable condition for us to send back to the Manufacturer a refund will be refused. You are required that the products to be sent back to us at your own cost and risk. Once the products have been received and we have inspected them, we will confirm the fault matches with your returns form. Once we have agreed that the product is faulty we will send out a replacement. Should you not require a replacement product a refund including your original delivery cost will be arranged. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
General Information
Under no circumstances should you write or stick labels on the original packaging.
Any goods received without a completed REFUND FORM or prior notification to us will be refused. They will be returned to you and we will not be able to issue a refund.

Upon receipt all products should be checked and notification of any problems should be received within 7 days.
Approximate delivery dates are given and are subject to change at any time due to product availability.
DO NOT under any circumstances book your fitters until you have received your products. Essex Discount Bathrooms can not be liable for any loss of monies/wages.
Goods will be delivered as close as possible to your front door. The driver is not insured to take goods into your property. Should the location be unreachable for whatever reason, such as stairs or because of obstruction, the delivery will be made as close as possible to your property. We recommend that should your delivery be for large items or on a pallet, that at least 1 person is available to assist with the delivery.
Deliveries
Delivery Times:
Standard delivery time is 3-10 working days. For goods that are out of stock delivery time will be given at time of ordering. All Delivery dates are approximate and subject to alteration.
ALL DELIVERIES REFER TO A ONE MAN GROUND FLOOR DELIVERY ONLY AND THE CUSTOMER WILL BE REQUIRED TO HELP WITH THE UNLOADING OF LARGE ITEMS
On delivery all goods are required to be checked and we should be informed within 7 days of any faults.
Essex Discount Bathrooms cannot be held liable for late arrival of goods and therefore tradesmen should not be booked until the goods have been received and checked for damage.
All deliveries will be made to the nearest hard road point, no goods are insured to be carried upstairs.
